We have lovable, friendly dogs who are all rescues. We also foster and do animal rescue for several organizations. Our dogs have very limited access to guest areas but do stay in the office during bad weather. You will not be subject to endless barking. We have luxury kennels for them on the side of the house with a doggie door to the office. The ancient ones lay around by the back door. Our dogs are members of the family. If you are allergic or do not like dogs this might not be a good choice of B&B for you.
If you like dogs you can interact with them all you like and maybe even take one home!

Rubee: A diva dachshund who is a princess. She is very friendly and loves all the attention you can give her. Came from dachshund rescue in Houston.
Dino: Quiet and very friendly. Usually found snoozing in a chair near the office. Came from an animal sanctuary where the other dogs beat up on him.
Bipolar Shortie: Tiny, completely insane wiener dog. Can't decide if she wants to be friends with you or snap at you. However, she has only 2 teeth and they don't meet so she is harmless. Rescued from a puppy mill where she spent 6 years without be touched affectionately. No wonder she's nuts. (Bi-polar Shortie passed away on August 5th. We will miss her terribly.)
Teddy: A sweet corgi mix with beautiful and soulful eyes. Tries to follow me everywhere
Emmie Lou: 150 year old dachshund who was rescued from a shelter and was near death from starvation and dehydration. Doing much better now. Found abandoned in San Antonio.
Max: Like a skinny and scarred version of Teddy. A huge but not fat, dachshund who loves to play, He is very shy, but treats make him more bold. |
